A leading organisation is seeking an experienced Telecom BSS Solution Architect to join a major transformation program. This is an opportunity to play a key role in modernising complex telecom environments, driving large-scale BSS transformation initiatives and shaping future-state architecture across critical business systems.

Your new role

As the Telecom BSS Solution Architect, you will be responsible for defining and delivering end-to-end solution architecture across the BSS landscape, with a strong focus on billing, revenue management and legacy modernisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture across Telecom BSS domains including Billing, Charging, Order Management, Payments and Revenue Management
• Define and drive BSS transformation and modernisation strategies
• Assess legacy applications and develop migration and decommissioning roadmaps
• Architect scalable billing ecosystems spanning charging, invoicing, collections and revenue assurance
• Design integration architecture across BSS, OSS and third-party platforms
• Develop solution blueprints aligned to TM Forum standards including eTOM, ODA and Open APIs
• Conduct business process analysis, gap assessments and solution design activities
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to enhance customer journeys and digital experiences
• Provide architecture governance and strategic direction across large-scale transformation programs
• Support Agile delivery teams to ensure alignment between business outcomes and architectural objectives

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• 15+ years' experience within Telecommunications, with deep expertise across BSS environments
• Extensive experience designing and implementing Telecom BSS solutions
• Strong knowledge of Billing, Charging, Invoicing, CRM, CPQ, Order Management and Revenue Management platforms
• Proven experience delivering large-scale BSS transformation and modernisation programs
• Hands-on experience with billing migrations, product catalogues, pricing management, mediation and settlement systems
• Experience assessing and decommissioning legacy applications and platforms
• Strong understanding of telecom value chains, including Lead-to-Order, Order-to-Cash and Usage-to-Pay
• Expertise in TM Forum frameworks including eTOM, ODA and Open APIs
• Experience with microservices, API-led integration, SOA and event-driven architecture
• Strong stakeholder engagement, architecture governance and leadership capabilities
• TOGAF, TM Forum or SAFe certifications will be highly regarded
