• Are you confident with both copper and fiber, from pulling to certification?
• Do you thrive on collaboration with project managers, customers, and other trades?

Core work you’ll perform

• Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A installation, termination, labeling, and testing.
• Fiber optic installation and termination, fusion splicing, and full test/validation.
• Pathway and support installation: cable tray, ladder rack, sleeves, backboards, and J‑hooks.
• Code‑compliant firestopping.
• High‑pair copper backbone installation and splicing.
• System certification using Fluke DSX‑8600 testers and OTDR equipment.
• Reading/interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Site surveys to plan cable routes and penetrations.
• Accurate reports, labeling, and test documentation.
• Maintaining a safe, orderly job site; professional communication at all times.

Must‑haves

• 3+ years of commercial low‑voltage installation experience.
• Experience with structured cabling and fiber optic systems.
• Blueprint/construction document literacy.
• Understanding of TIA/EIA standards and best practices.
• Experience using Fluke certification equipment.
• BICSI or OEM certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license; clean MVR.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Comfort lifting 50 lbs and working from ladders and lifts.
