Core Expertise
Hand on experience in developing processes and work instructions for Telecom Operators in particular to Network Operations
Expertise on various standards and practices: eTOM, ITIL, TL9000, ITU-T
Aware of Process standards, rules, notation, process mapping (Basic flowcharting , Standards, OMG)
Aware of Global benchmarks and standards, KPI s applicable for Telecom Industry
Domain expertise as per Organization Hierarchy of customer such as Mobile, Transport (Tx, Data), Fixed (Switching Access Networks), OSS Planning Implementation, NMS Tools, Contracts, Information Security, Business Continuity, MSP Governance, Warehousing Spare Management etc.,
Proficiency in Program Management
Skill Sets
Preparing presentation to different levels of organization
Fluency in English speaking, writing, Understanding (American, British accent)
Good verbal communication and accent
Expertise in Visio for developing process flowcharts
Expertise in process writing and documentation
Conducting workshops for reviewing draft processes
Preparation of training manuals
Conducting Training Program for accepted Processes Work Instructions
Support for developing progress reports in Excel Power point
Preparation of audit checklist and audit plan
Performing audits and reporting
Identify gaps in existing processes Work Instruction documents and practices and prepare gap analysis report

Work Related
Interact with customer for understanding current practices and document same with process flow in Visio
Develop processes with de-compositions for three to four levels with alignment to organization hierarchy
Build KPI s as per process elements taking into consideration capabilities of measurement by existing tools
Develop presentations for conducting workshop for customer
Prepare potential questions to identify gaps and to prepare gap analysis with recommendations
Complete process documentation in word as per template provided
Review completed process document for acceptance with relevant stakeholders
Assist in preparation of weekly and monthly progress reports
Prepare training manual in MS Word / Power point
Conduct training for accepted processes
Schedule audits, perform audits and report audit findings
Program Management for scheduling meetings, activity based tracking and reporting

With regard to the contractual norms, they will be paid a gross salary of Rs1 Lakh per month , plus 50 USD per day as the PER DIEM. The Indian salary is subject to TDS and is inclusive all other statutory levies, taxes and deductions. Bachelor accommodation will be provided and annual passage will also be provided.

Essential: Overall experience of 8 to 10 years with at least 5 yrs in retail sales of Banking or Financial Services. Experience in managing a team of DSA (Direct Sales Agent) or DST required. Experience in card related payment products desired and experience in handling merchant acquisition would be a clear advantage. Demonstrated strength on achieving targets/ sales numbers required

Others: Knowledge or experience in Southern states desirable. Should be willing to travel extensively.

Description of Function and Responsibilities:
Overall Head of Operations for a new Mobile Payment service. Will be responsible for key aspects of the operations including merchant acquisition customer enrollment
Key elements of functional role will include
o setting up and managing of Feet on Street (FOS) Agents Supervisors for merchant enrollment customer KYC,
o training, supervision,
o reporting to senior management,
o defining and setting up the process for operations including document collection management,
o merchant mapping and allocation of targets to DSAs/ DST
o Support in marketing efforts for customer acquisition.
Key Result Areas include acquisition of merchants and enablement of customers in Southern States. This is for a new mobile payment platform which is linked to a pre-paid wallet. The company is looking at aggressive growth and the Operations Head will be responsible for attainments of the Sales numbers pertaining to the merchant acquisition.
