Guangdong Intercity O&M Sdn Bhd is the Operation & Maintenance (O&M) provider for the **West Section of the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL)**​ — Malaysia's flagship 665 km rail infrastructure connecting Port Klang to Kelantan. As ECRL moves toward its 2027 operational launch, our team plays a critical role in ensuring the operational readiness of this nation-building project.

Key Responsibilities Requirements

1. Under the guidance of an assigned mentor, assist with inspections of telecommunications equipment, fibre-optic/copper cables and network links, and verify related documentation.
2. Assist with basic testing, equipment labelling, and the organisation of equipment registers and maintenance records.
3. Participate in training on telecommunications equipment maintenance, fault handling and railway safety.

Requirements

1. Currently pursuing a Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Computer/Network Engineering, Information Technology, Railway Signalling and Communications or a related field, with expected graduation in 2027. An official internship confirmation letter from the institution is required.
2. Able to complete a continuous internship of 3-6 months.
3. Proactive and willing to learn, with the ability to follow site instructions and supervision.
4. Preferably at least 18 years old and able to participate in practical learning at worksites and along the railway alignment.
