  • Demonstrated experience in telecommunications network planning, design, or a closely related technical role
  • Strong working knowledge of customer access network technologies, including fibre, copper, HFC, and wireless infrastructure
  • Proficiency in network planning and design tools, GIS platforms, and relevant industry software
  • Solid understanding of network protocols, architecture principles, and performance management practices
  • Proven ability to analyse complex technical data, identify root causes, and develop practical solutions
  • Experience managing and coordinating external vendors and suppliers, including oversight of contractual performance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes within defined timeframes
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Postgraduate qualifications or industry certifications in telecommunications, network engineering, or project management (e.g. CCNP, PMP, or equivalent)
  • Experience working within NBN, fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP), or large-scale national telecommunications rollout programmes
  • Familiarity with Australian telecommunications regulatory frameworks and industry standards
  • Experience with predictive network modelling and simulation tools
  • Exposure to agile or structured project delivery methodologies within a telecommunications context
