Telecommunications Technician

Our growing company has over 250 active jobs sites across five regions and we are seeking experienced Telecom Technicians to join our growing team for multiple high-profile projects throughout Raleigh, NC

Technician Responsibilities:

· Installation, termination, and testing of telecommunications cabling systems

· Installation of Structured Cable Systems – Utilizing UTP / FTP / ScTP / STP Media Types

· Coaxial cable installation and termination

· Installation and termination of high pair count copper backbone - inter & intra building

· Multimode (MM) and Singlemode (SM) fiber optic cable installation, termination and testing

· Lead and coordinate telecommunications installation activities as required

Technician Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years of telecommunications experience required

· Vocational or technical schooling in telecommunications/electrical systems is a plus

· High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

· BICSI Certification preferred

· Strong knowledge of installation practices and industry standards

· Reliable mode of transportation to commute to multiple job sites that are up to a 1 ¼ hour circumference from your home address
