The Role
We’re hiring a full-time, on-site Telecommunications Technician based in Gastonia, NC. You’ll install, configure, and maintain telecommunications systems for commercial and industrial customers, working alongside other technicians and project leads at local job sites.

What You’ll Do

• Run, terminate, and manage structured cabling for telecom infrastructure
• Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications systems
• Perform system tests and diagnose and resolve technical issues in the field
• Read and work from technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and work orders
• Document completed work in line with company standards
• Follow all safety protocols and company and industry standards
• Interact professionally with customers on site
• Travel to local job sites and work overtime as project needs require

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in telecommunications installation or a related field
• Hands-on skills in structured cabling, terminations, and cable management
• Strong troubleshooting ability
• Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and work orders
• Attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work on site at various customer locations

Preferred

• Fiber, BICSI, or other cabling certifications

Physical Requirements (confirm or edit)

• Ability to lift up to [50] lbs, climb ladders, and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
