About The Role

RNR Group are looking for an experienced Poling Technician.

This is CIS subcontractor role, with potential to lead to permanent if required . Our Head Office is based at Progress Drive Cannock, however you will be based working across the Midlands and will be required to work at any other location as determined by the needs of the Company to fulfil your role.

As you will be aware, the role of a Telegraph Pole Engineer is a physically and technically demanding role at times and requires engineers who are physically fit and have an excellent work ethic.

The package we are offering includes a competitive Rates Card plus bonus incentives.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a proactive and flexible approach to their work and enjoy working as part of a team. They must have a focus on productivity and efficiency and know how to get the best out of their team. Experience of working as a Poling Engineer is required.

Essential requirements include:

Qualifications:

• Must hold the following accreditations or Equivalent MT003, SA001, SA006, SA021, Lorry Loader , O01, O02, O03, O04, O05, O06, O07, E1, K03, IPAF1B, F20, Tetra Full SWQR (streetworks) qualification.
• Complete Application training
• Competent in completing and understanding site specific RA’s/ Generic RAMS
• Hold HGV Class C or Above (Desirable)
• Demonstrate Competency and confidence in an uncontrolled environment on all tasks that they have passed training accreditations for.

Other requirements

• Must hold a full clean UK driving licence
• Ability to prioritise workload
• Ability to problem solve and work well under pressure
• Willing to undertake relevant training and development
• A strong commitment to Health and Safety
• Prepared to work overtime and have flexibility to work unsocial hours to meet the needs of the business.
