Job opportunity available for a telehandler at Bristol Airport

Role Overview:

The Telehandler Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a telehandler on construction sites. The role involves moving, lifting and positioning materials while supporting site logistics and ensuring all operations are carried out in line with site safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the telehandler safely and efficiently in accordance with site requirements.
• Lift, move and position materials across the construction site.
• Load and unload deliveries where required.
• Carry out daily pre-operational checks and report any faults or defects immediately.
• Ensure all loads are secure and remain within the machine’s safe working limits.
• Work closely with slingers, traffic marshals, supervisors and other site personnel.
• Follow site instructions, lifting procedures and designated traffic routes.
• Maintain awareness of pedestrians, vehicles and surrounding hazards at all times.
• Keep the machine clean and report any maintenance requirements to site management.
• Follow all site health and safety procedures and wear the correct PPE.

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Valid right to work in the UK.
• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket.
• Valid full UK driving licence.
• Previous experience operating a telehandler on construction sites.
• Safety Critical Medical may be required depending on site requirements.
• Good awareness of site safety and safe lifting practices.

Hours

Monday - Friday 11:00 - 19:00
