Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Telehandler / Loadall operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate a versatile telehandler (also known as a loadall) to move, lift, and position materials efficiently across various sites. Your mechanical knowledge, experience with commercial driving, and familiarity with excavators will be essential in ensuring smooth operations and maintaining safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects while developing your skills in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Operate the telehandler/loadall safely and efficiently to transport materials around construction sites
• Assist with the movement of heavy equipment such as excavators and other machinery as needed
• Conduct pre-operation inspections of the telehandler to ensure it is in optimal working condition
• Follow all safety protocols and site regulations to prevent accidents or damage
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate material deliveries and placements
• Maintain accurate logs of daily operations, inspections, and maintenance activities

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating a telehandler/loadall in a commercial setting
• Valid driver’s license with experience in commercial driving environments
• Mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on equipment
• Familiarity with excavator operation is a plus but not mandatory
• Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy machinery operation
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy loads safely
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
