Telemarketer

About the role

This role involves making outbound calls to potential clients from provided leads, engaging prospects to understand their needs and level of interest, and generating and qualifying potential leads for our consultants. You will arrange appointments for interested prospects, conduct follow-ups as required, and maintain accurate records of leads, call outcomes and appointment details in relevant systems. You will work closely with our consultants to ensure smooth lead handover and achieve agreed daily and weekly call and appointment targets.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to potential clients from provided leads
• Engage prospects to understand their general needs and level of interest
• Generate and qualify potential leads for consultants
• Arrange appointments for interested prospects to speak with consultants
• Conduct follow-ups with prospects where required
• Maintain accurate records of leads, call outcomes and appointment details
• Update lead status and information in relevant systems
• Work closely with consultants to ensure smooth lead handover
• Achieve agreed daily and weekly call and appointment targets
• Handle prospects' information professionally and maintain confidentiality

About you

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident and comfortable speaking over the phone
• Friendly, positive and approachable personality
• Good follow-up and organisational skills
• Motivated by targets and performance-based incentives
• Basic computer skills
• Previous telemarketing, telesales, customer service or insurance experience is an advantage
