Telemarketer

Key Responsibilities

• Outbound Sales: Call palm oil estates, plantation managers, and smallholders to promote premium seedling clones.
• Book Appointments: Schedule nursery site visits and consultations for the field sales team.
• Qualify Leads: Identify customer needs, including land acreage, planting schedules, and budget.
• Follow Up: Call back past buyers for repeat orders and answer basic logistics questions.
• Update Records: Log all customer details, call outcomes, and sales leads accurately.
• Promote Campaigns: Inform prospects about seasonal nursery discounts, bulk order promotions, and free delivery offers.
• Overcome Objections: Use product knowledge to handle buyer concerns regarding seed quality, disease resistance, and yield performance.
• Coordinate Logistics: Work closely with the nursery dispatch team to verify delivery dates and dropship locations for buyers.
• Monitor Competitors: Collect market feedback on competitor seedling pricing and strategies to report to management.
• Manage Inbound Leads: Respond promptly to incoming sales inquiries from WhatsApp Business, Facebook, and the company website.
• Database Cleanup: Filter and update old contact lists to remove unreachable or invalid phone numbers.
• Hit Sales KPIs: Achieve daily and weekly targets for outbound call volume, talk time, and qualified appointments set.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum SPM, STPM, or Diploma level.
• Experience: Experience in telemarketing, telesales, or customer service is required.
• Industry Knowledge: Basic knowledge of agriculture or the palm oil industry is a strong advantage.
• Languages: Fluent in Malay and English (Mandarin or Sabah native dialects are highly valued).
• Key Skills: Confident phone etiquette, negotiation skills, and high resilience against rejection.

Pay: RM1,700.00 per month
