Telemetry Nurse

Seeking a skilled Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) for a small-format hospital setting, specializing in PCU/Step-Down and Telemetry care. Responsibilities Include

• Assessing, planning, and delivering age-specific, patient-centered nursing care based on advanced clinical knowledge.
• Monitoring and managing high-acuity patients, including cardiac, hypertensive, and insulin infusions, with proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• Supporting patients requiring advanced respiratory therapies such as BiPAP and high-flow oxygen.
• Collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams, telemedicine providers, and utilizing virtual communication platforms.
• Providing stabilization support for critically ill or ventilated patients prior to transfer.
• Following physician orders, maintaining patient confidentiality, adhering to infection control protocols, and performing lab tests and procedures.

Qualifications And Skills

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure without sanctions.
• At least 2 years of full-time RN experience in Telemetry, ICU, or related healthcare roles.
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Background checks required per state regulations.
