Telephone Operator

Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns. Operate telephone switchboard station and ensure proper routing of calls. Supply guests with information regarding property amenities, services, room features, and local areas of interest, while delivering a seamless and memorable guest experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls using approved brand standards
• Receive, record, and relay messages accurately and promptly
• Provide information to guests about hotel services, in-room amenities, dining options, and local attractions
• Process wake-up call requests and ensure timely delivery
• Coordinate with departments to fulfil guest requests efficiently
• Handle emergency calls and follow established safety and escalation procedures
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information and adhere to data privacy standards
• Operate and manage the EPABX system and communication console effectively
• Support front office operations and ensure smooth internal communication

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education & Experience:

• B.Sc./Diploma in Hospitality
• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
• Freshers with strong communication skills may be considered

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong verbal communication and listening skills
• Professional telephone etiquette and guest handling ability
• Multitasking and time management skills
• Basic computer knowledge
• Fluency in English; additional languages (Hindi/Marathi) are an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,500.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
