TELESALES EXECUTIVE

About the role
Saxco Marketing Sdn Bhd is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Telesales Executive to join our growing sales team. This is a full-time position based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, where you will play a vital role in driving revenue growth through outbound sales activities. As a Telesales Executive, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building client relationships, and achieving sales targets through proactive telephone and digital outreach. This position is essential to our sales strategy and offers an excellent opportunity to develop your sales career in a fast-paced customer service environment.

Key responsibilities

• Making outbound calls to prospective customers to introduce products and services and identify sales opportunities
• Qualifying leads and understanding customer needs to recommend appropriate solutions
• Presenting product features and benefits clearly and persuasively to encourage conversions
• Negotiating terms and closing sales to meet or exceed individual and team targets
• Maintaining accurate records of all customer interactions and sales activities within the customer relationship management (CRM) system
• Following up with interested prospects to progress them through the sales pipeline
• Handling customer objections professionally and finding solutions to overcome barriers to sale
• Collaborating with team members to share best practices and support collective sales goals
• Providing feedback to management on market trends and customer feedback
• Adhering to company policies, scripts and compliance procedures during all customer interactions

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in outbound telesales, telemarketing or a similar sales role within a call centre environment
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate product benefits clearly and persuasively
• Excellent listening skills and the ability to identify customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly
• Resilience and confidence to handle rejection and maintain motivation in a target-driven environment
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Proficiency with telephone systems, CRM software and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently whilst being part of a collaborative team
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in record-keeping and follow-up activities
• Fluency in English; additional language skills such as Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia are advantageous
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and adaptability to changing priorities
