Teller (Bellevue)

Position: Teller

Location: Bellevue (25th & Cornhusker - Pratt Ave)

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:45AM to 5:45PM and rotating Saturday's from 8:45AM to 1:15PM (TIP: When working a Saturday, will have a half day off during the week).

Starting Pay Rate: $16.71 per hour.

General Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to assist Centris Federal Credit Union in our mission to be a trusted life-long financial partner. Process transactions efficiently and accurately while promoting Credit Union products and services.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Promote and model the Centris Vision, Mission, Values and Team Principles.
• Provide unparalleled service to both internal and external members in accordance with the Centris Service Promises.
  • Create and/or develop relationships with internal and external members.
  • Serve the needs of external members by identifying needs, recommending and selling appropriate products or services.
  • Perform transactions efficiently and accurately to promote financial success for members and the credit union.

Primary Position Dimensions:

• Number of transactions Scope: Full time: 1100-5000 per month
• Number of individual production goals Scope: 1-2 per month
• Number of team production goals Scope: 1-2 per month
• Number of products and services Scope: 20-30

Job Requirements:

• Technical Skills and Experience Requirement

• • Must have a High School degree or equivalent, or be working toward a high school degree or equivalent.
  • Must have one year customer service experience.

• People Skills Requirement

• • Must have the ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with members, staff, and other business contacts.

• Physical Skills Requirement

• • Must be able to effectively access and interpret computer screens, documents, and reports.
  • Must be able to operate general office equipment.
  • Must be able to accurately enter data 120 keystrokes per minute.
  • Must be able to accurately key numbers 100 keystrokes per minute.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Must be able to stand for more than two hours without sitting.

• Other Requirements

• • Must report to work regularly and on time.
  • Must be able to work the hours necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.

• Must be knowledgeable in BSA and compliance requirements enforced on the credit union by state and federal law as applicable.

• • Must present a professional image.
  • Must be bondable.
