Salary Range: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service? The Peoples State Bank is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Full-Time Teller to support our Newton, IL location. Saturday shifts will be part of your schedule on a rotating basis.

As a Full-Time Teller, you will be the face of the bank, handling customer transactions, answering questions, identifying financial needs, and connecting customers to appropriate services and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding service to customers in a professional, friendly manner
• Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other transactions
• Respond to inquiries and resolve basic customer concerns
• Identify opportunities to refer products and services that meet customer needs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred but not required
• We are willing to train the right candidate with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

What We’re Looking For:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Flexibility to work Saturdays and travel between branch locations

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in banking and customer service.
