Description As a Bank Branch Teller at Community Savings, you will be the face of our branch, providing exceptional customer service and performing a range of financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency. You will assist customers with their banking needs, handle cash and checks, and ensure a positive experience at our branch.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly, address their inquiries and provide information about banking products and services. Ensure a positive and professional customer experience at all times.
• Perform a variety of financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and check cashing. Accurately handle and balance cash drawers.
• Assist customers with account-related issues, including account openings, closings, and updates. Provide information about account balances, statements, and transactions.
• Adhere to all banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure the security and confidentiality of customer information. Report any suspicious activity or security concerns to the Branch Manager.
• Address and resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally. Escalate complex issues to the Branch Manager when necessary.
• Promote and cross-sell bank products and services that meet customer needs, such as savings accounts, loans, and credit cards.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer interactions. Ensure proper documentation and filing in accordance with bank policies.
• Work closely with other tellers and branch staff to achieve branch goals and support overall team performance.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Previous experience in banking, retail, or customer service roles preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in basic mathematics and handling cash.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Familiarity with banking software and systems is a plus.
