Teller

This role is responsible for delivering financial banking services to customers, ensuring prompt and high-quality service in line with FTB banking standards, while promoting the performance of relevant branches in accordance with the strategic plan.

Main Duties

• Implement the strategic plan accurately and responsibly, ensuring active engagement in all technical tasks and utilizing skills to ensure smooth and effective operations;
• Receive and send cash for cash transactions with the head office, NBC or other branches, ensuring accurate verification, proper signing, and clear receipt of all transactions;
• Carry out cash withdrawal transactions and receive cash from customers, including cash disbursements, credit repayments, withdrawals, deposits, bill payments, check processing, and other income and expense transactions, all in accordance with FTB banking service standards;
• Carry out cash transfer transactions for customers such as: Domestic and Oversea transfer in accordance with banking service standards.
• Record data in the banking system for cash transactions, cash transfers, and other payment transactions accurately, clearly, and in a timely manner;
• Ensure that all withdrawal, receiving, or exchange transactions must be properly counted and verified to avoid cash surpluses, shortages, or the acceptance of counterfeit cash, which can lead to significant issues in the market;
• Build good relationships with internal and external customers ensure the quality of the bank’s service;
• Properly maintain cash flow, transactions and documents of monetary value in accordance with technical specifications and instructions;
• Close the daily cash register by comparing the actual cash with the recorded cash at the end of each working day. In the event of a cash surplus or shortage, report it to management immediately for timely resolution;
• Other tasks as requested by Line Manager.

Skills/ Experiences

• Bachelor Degree in Banking or related field.
• Fresh graduate or 1 years, experiences as Sales Officer/Teller.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Word & Excel.
• Good at English language, Chinese language is a plus.
• Basic accounting knowledge.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Strong customer service and sales-oriented personality.
