Duties

• Greet members warmly and assist with a variety of banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, cash handling, and account inquiries.
• Utilize financial software to update member accounts, perform basic math calculations, and ensure transaction accuracy through 10-key typing skills.
• Identify opportunities for upselling additional financial products or services that meet members’ needs while maintaining compliance with banking regulations.
• Detect and prevent potential fraud by monitoring account activity, verifying member identities, and following established security procedures.
• Manage customer relationships by providing personalized service, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining ongoing communication to strengthen member trust.
• Handle cash management responsibilities including debits & credits, cashiering duties, and balancing cash drawers at the end of each shift.

Experience

• Prior experience in financial services within a banking environment is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of banking operations such as cash handling and basic math skills.
• Familiarity with financial software systems used for transaction processing and account management.
• Demonstrated ability to detect fraud indicators and apply appropriate prevention measures.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and active listening capabilities.
• Ability to perform retail math accurately including calculations related to cash management and financial transactions.

Pay: $20.00 - $29.20 per hour
