TEMP GENERAL LABOR

We are seeking energetic and dependable TEMP GENERAL LABOR team members.

In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting daily distribution activities, ensuring smooth and efficient handling of materials, and performing various duties in all shop departments as needed. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a shop environment. This position may involve working with sheet metal fabrication and assembly.

Duties

· To assist all departments with general housekeeping, organizing, moving, paint preparation, material preparation,etc.

*Deburr parts, set up parts for machining,

· Helpers/general laborers can only work in areas where they meet the minimum experience and qualification requirements

· Maintain regular and punctual attendance and work overtime as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· High School diploma or GED

Work Environment

This job operates in a factory setting. The position is regularly exposed to moving and mechanical parts.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to odors, fumes, dust or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Proper PPE will be provided.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

The employee is required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Position will require sitting, squatting, walking and bending 8-10 hours per day. The employee must be able to lift 35lbs or more. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
