Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Templater, Stonemason to join our dynamic Stone Manufacturing and design team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise templates and patterns for stonework installations, ensuring seamless integration with architectural plans. Your expertise will help bring intricate stone designs to life, contributing to the aesthetic and structural excellence of our projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing advanced CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to translate creative visions into tangible masterpieces.

Duties

• Develop detailed templates and patterns for stonemasonry projects using CAD software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and SolidWorks.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately.
• Prepare precise layouts and schematics for stone cutting, shaping, and installation processes.
• Ensure all templates adhere to project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Assist in the selection of appropriate materials and tools based on project needs.
• Support on-site stonemason teams by providing clear templates and instructions for efficient execution.
• Maintain detailed records of templates created, revisions made, and project progress updates.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction or stonemasonry with a strong understanding of architectural detailing.
• Proficiency in CAD software including SketchUp, NavisWorks, AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and SolidWorks is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately.
• Prior experience creating templates or patterns for stone or masonry work is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and quality standards related to stone installation.
• Familiarity with construction documentation and ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
