Temporary accounting assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Temporary Accounting Clerk to assist our Accounting Department with day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks. This is a good opportunity for a fresh graduate who wants to gain practical experience in accounting and finance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with encoding and recording accounting transactions.
• Prepare, check, organize, and file invoices, receipts, vouchers, and other accounting documents.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist in bank and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records.
• Assist in preparing reports, schedules, and other accounting documents.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding accounting documents and requirements.
• Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned.

About you

• Graduate of BS Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related course.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and willing to learn.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
• Previous work experience is not required.
