What they need
Available to start immediately? Looking for a hands-on admin role where you can make a genuine difference?
SMAART Recruitment is partnering with an allied health provider supporting NDIS participants and the wider community through occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech pathology services.
We’re looking for a friendly, organised and practical Administration Assistant to join their team in Nundah. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the day-to-day running of the office and helping clinicians deliver services to clients in the community.
This is an ongoing temporary assignment with no set end date.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Answering incoming calls, welcoming visitors and creating a positive first impression.
- Managing the administration inbox and responding to enquiries.
- Scheduling appointments for clinicians working across the community.
- Preparing service agreements and risk assessments with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Providing general administrative support to the wider team.
- Helping maintain a clean, organised and welcoming office environment, including preparing clinical rooms and assisting with everyday tasks.
You'll be joining an established team with processes in place, so the ability to learn quickly, follow procedures and adapt to changing priorities will be key.
You'll ideally bring:
- Previous administration or office support experience, ideally within an NDIS, allied health or multidisciplinary environment.
- Experience managing schedules, phone calls and shared inboxes.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A warm, professional and welcoming phone manner.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems.
- A proactive, practical approach and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
- The ability to manage competing priorities while following established processes.
Please note: A current NDIS Worker Screening Check and a current Working with Children Check are both essential for this position.
What's on offer:
- $37–$40 per hour + super, depending on the level of experience the successful candidate brings to the role.
- Consistent weekday hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm.
- Work-life balance: Enjoy your evenings and weekends free.
- Ongoing opportunity: No set end date while the business recruits permanently.
- Potential permanent pathway: The successful temp may be considered for the permanent position.
- Meaningful work: Support a team providing valuable allied health services to the community.
- Supportive environment: Join an established office team where your contribution makes a difference.
