Temporary Construction Laborer

Job Description: On-Call Construction Laborer
We're building out our on-call roster! We're looking for dependable laborers to contact when project work picks up. NOTE: This is NOT a full-time or part-time position—you'll be called when we need extra hands on site and released when the work is done. If you're reliable and show up ready to work, there's plenty of opportunity for repeat calls!

What You'll Do:

• Assist crew lead with all aspects of rough and finish construction
• General labor, material handling, site cleanup, and trade support
• Follow job site safety protocols and maintain a clean, professional work environment

What We're Looking For:

• Previous construction or carpentry experience required
• Reliable transportation to job sites
• Valid driver's license
• Strong work ethic, good attitude, and willingness to follow direction
• Physically able to handle heavy lifting, extended standing, and outdoor work in all conditions

Project Details:

• Locations: Primarily LaPorte County and Porter County (Northwest Indiana)
• Types of work: New builds, fix-flips, residential and commercial remodels
• Hours vary by project — we'll contact you when work is available

This is an on-call position with no guaranteed hours. Compensation is hourly for hours worked.

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
