The successful candidate will assist with receiving and processing deliveries, labelling and moving stock, maintaining accurate paperwork, and keeping the Goods-In area organised. The role will help ensure that deliveries are processed promptly and that walkways remain clear and accessible so Lab Technicians can safely locate and collect the stock they require.
Principal Responsibilities:

- Report any damaged, missing or incorrect items to the Goods-In Coordinator.
- Move received stock to the correct designated storage or holding area.

- Keep the Goods-In area clean, safe and organised.
- Assist the team with arranging stock and IBCs when required.
- Follow manual-handling procedures and all site health and safety requirements.
- Complete other reasonable Goods-In or stock-handling tasks during the busy period.
· Assist with general housekeeping activities to maintain a clean and compliant production environment.
· Follow all Health & Safety, Food Safety, COSHH and GMP requirements at all times.
· Support continuous improvement activities and identify opportunities to improve efficiency within the production process. Fulfil all health and safety, product quality, and safety requirements in line with ISO22716 standards.
Person Requirements:
- Proactive and willing to identify tasks that need completing.
- Reliable, punctual and able to start work immediately.
- Organised and able to follow instructions carefully.
- Comfortable carrying out practical and physically active work.
- Capable of safely lifting and handling items weighing up to 25 kg, where appropriate.
- Willing to use flavour trolleys and other handling equipment to move heavier materials safely.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to maintain a tidy and safe working environment.
Previous Goods-In, warehouse, stock-handling or production experience would be helpful but is not essential, as appropriate instructions and training will be provided.
