Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, windows, restrooms and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Handle chemical agents safely by following proper handling procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for yourself and others.
• Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely when moving furniture, cleaning supplies, or equipment to support cleaning operations and facilities maintenance.
• Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces and waste disposal areas regularly in accordance with health guidelines.
• Assist with general housekeeping duties such as replenishing supplies, emptying trash bins, and ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards.
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles within residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, sanitation practices, and chemical handling safety procedures.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other custodial tools efficiently.
• Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safe lifting practices to handle bulky or heavy items securely.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with residents or staff when needed.
