About the Role

The Order Processing ensures the efficient management of customer orders from receipt through delivery and invoicing support. The role acts as a key interface between customers, Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance and Service, guaranteeing accurate execution, proactive communication and a high-quality customer experience throughout the order-to-cash process.

Responsibilities

• Order Management

• Receive, review and process customer orders in the ERP system.

• Verify commercial conditions, pricing, delivery terms, product configurations and documentation.

• Monitor order progress, proactively manage exceptions and coordinate changes, cancellations or rescheduling.

• Ensure accurate and timely order acknowledgements and data quality.

• Sales Administration

• Support the Sales organization with quotations, order acknowledgements and customer documentation.

• Maintain customer master data and commercial information in ERP and CRM systems.

• Customer Service

• Act as the primary contact for order-related enquiries.

• Provide timely updates on order status, lead times, availability and deliveries.

• Manage order-related complaints and coordinate corrective actions with the relevant functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in Order Processing, Sales Administration, Customer Service or Sales Operations, preferably in an industrial or technical B2B environment.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP knowledge is mandatory
• Experience in an international organisation is considered an advantage.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of SAP ERP and CRM tools , Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Understanding of order-to-cash processes; knowledge of Incoterms and export procedures is an advantage.
• Strong customer orientation, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Effective communication, problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and international environment
• Italian: native or fluent.
• English: professional working proficiency, minimum B2 level.
• Available for a fixed term contract
