Myddelton College is seeking a reliable, caring, and flexible Temporary Part-Time Boarding Assistant to provide cover within our boarding provision, starting as soon as possible.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people and can help provide a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for our boarding pupils.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday: 5.00pm to 9.00pm
• Occasional weekend duties
• Some overnight cover may be required
• Accommodation (single) available if required

Salary

• £14.85 per hour

Essential Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or over
• Educated to A Level standard or equivalent level 3 qualification
• Able to start work as soon as possible
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible, dependable, and able to work independently
• A genuine interest in the welfare and development of young people
• Hold a current Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or be willing to provide evidence of a recent Enhanced DBS check acceptable to the College

Experience of working in a school, boarding environment, youth work, or a caring profession would be advantageous, although full induction and training will be provided.
