Temporary Proposal Manager

A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Temporary Proposal Manager to lead strategic proposal efforts that drive business growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a business development professional with a strong background in legal or professional services environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of compelling proposals, pitches, and client-facing business development materials.
• Manage proposal workflows and business development projects to support strategic growth initiatives.
• Develop persuasive messaging and proposal content that effectively communicates the firm's strengths and value proposition.
• Partner with attorneys and business development leaders to align pursuit strategies with client needs and business objectives.
• Lead complex proposal and pitch opportunities from strategy through submission.
• Oversee project management of cross-functional opportunities, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
• Implement scalable proposal processes, tools, templates, and best practices to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Support best practices and continuous improvement across proposal and business development initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Significant experience managing proposals, pitches, pursuits, or business development initiatives within a law firm or professional services organization.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and multiple concurrent projects.
• Exceptional writing, editing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong strategic thinking and project management capabilities.
• Experience supporting high-value client pursuits, RFPs, and competitive proposal processes.
