Temporary Ushers

Overview

Join the team as a Temporary Usher, helping during our graduation ceremony, welcome guests and find their way around the venue. You’ll support smooth event operations by providing attentive customer service and clear, helpful information.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, answer questions and direct them to the appropriate areas.
• Assist with seating and help maintain orderly access to event spaces.
• Share relevant information about facilities and event arrangements.
• Support basic administrative tasks, such as checking information and keeping records organised.
• Your impact: Your friendly guidance helps visitors feel at ease and reach their seats smoothly, supporting an enjoyable event experience.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage several requests calmly.
• Analysis skills to assess visitor queries and identify appropriate next steps.
• Administrative experience is useful, but not essential.
• A reliable, courteous approach and willingness to work as part of a team.

Pay: Up to £100.00 per day

Work Location: In person
