Temporary Warehouse Operative

Temporary position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

8 hours per day: between 8:00am and 5:00pm (8 hours a day + 60 mins lunch break).

Entitled to 20 days paid holidays pro rata per year + 8 days bank holiday

Pay will be at £9.50 per hour and will be paid monthly on the last working day of the month.

We are looking for a Temporary Warehouse Operative for our logistics company in this fast-growing industry. The Warehouse Operative will report to the Line Manager and work directly within their team.

Your Role:

• The role requires you to count and pack clothing into boxes whilst paying close attention to detail
• Load and unload cartons daily, weight 15kg-25kg
• Help wrapping pallets when needed.
• You will use your strong organisational skills and basic counting skills
• Basic cleaning duties, ensuring that all areas, both in the warehouse and offices are clean

Your Skills:

• Be able to communicate effectively in English
• Flexible and can-do approach
• Attention to details
• Time management skills
• Ability to work accurately and numerically under pressure
• Previous warehouse experience would be desirable
• Have at least qualifications of A-levels or equivalent

Other Bonus:

Company has different types of bonus which you will be potentially entitled to, this will be explained further during interview. Subject to performance, this position can be changed to permanent full-time contract.
