Temporary Warehouse Worker

Your contributions will help ensure smooth order fulfillment, timely shipping and receiving, and overall warehouse productivity. Responsibilities

• Operate various warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and cranes to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently
• Assist with inventory control by conducting stock counts, updating inventory management software, and maintaining accurate records using warehouse management systems
• Support order picking and packing processes to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly
• Handle materials manually with proper manual handling techniques to ensure safety during stocking, shipping, and receiving activities
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by adhering to safety regulations and using personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate logistics activities such as load & unload operations and shipment preparations
• Follow safety protocols diligently while operating heavy equipment and performing warehouse tasks to prevent accidents or injuries

Experience

• Prior experience in warehouse distribution or warehouse operations is highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, or crane machinery
• Familiarity with inventory management software and warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous
• Experience in materials handling, order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, or stock management is desirable
• Strong basic math skills for inventory counting and order processing tasks
• Warehouse supervisor experience or familiarity with safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation is a plus
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and manual handling for extended periods

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
