Tender & Estimation Manager (Construction)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Tender & Estimation Team for ERSS projects.
• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and scope of works.
• Prepare and review quantity take-off, cost estimates, rates and tender pricing.
• Develop competitive and commercially sound tender strategies.
• Coordinate with Business Development, Technical, Operations, Procurement and Finance teams.
• Evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Identify tender risks, exclusions, assumptions and commercial opportunities.
• Prepare tender submissions, clarifications and management approval papers.
• Maintain tender cost databases and support project handover after award.
• Lead, coach and develop the Tender & Estimation team.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction or related discipline.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant tendering and estimation experience in construction, civil, foundation or ERSS works.
• Strong experience in cost estimation, quantity take-off and tender pricing.
• Experience in ERSS, deep excavation, sheet piling, strutting or temporary works is preferred.
• Strong commercial, analytical, negotiation and leadership skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tender deadlines.
