Tender Assistant Manager (Construction)

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Lead and supervise junior tender team members in preparing technical tender proposals.
• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, QS, procurement, and construction teams.
• Prepare and review method statements, technical proposals, compliance matrices, and tender clarifications.
• Ensure all technical submissions are accurate, complete, compliant, and submitted on time.
• Identify technical risks, assumptions, exclusions, and value-engineering opportunities.
• Support tender review meetings and client clarification responses.
• Monitor team progress, allocate tasks, and provide guidance to junior staff.
• Maintain tender records, templates, and technical submission standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• Relevant experience in construction tendering, technical proposals, or project engineering
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members is preferred
• Strong understanding of construction methods, drawings, specifications, and tender requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and planning software knowledge is an advantage
• Strong leadership, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Clear written and verbal English communication skills
• Able to work effectively under pressure
• Willing to work overtime when required to meet tender deadlines
