Drive commercial strategy, gross profit yield optimisation, and process efficiency across regional ocean freight tender and pricing operations.
- Lead end-to-end RFQ pricing strategies to maximise gross profit, yield, and overall contract win rates.
- Evaluate pricing exceptions, market movements, and complex cost structures to balance volume defence with rate increases.
- Oversee tariff management, tender handovers, and the resolution of complex internal commercial and pricing disputes.
- Drive continuous process improvements to enhance tender turnaround times, accuracy, and commercial efficiency.
skills and experience required
- Proven track record in ocean pricing and tender strategy within an NVOCC or freight forwarding environment.
- Advanced Excel capabilities and strong commercial acumen in yield management, margin analysis, and stakeholder negotiation.
