We are currently hiring a Technical Office Engineer – Tender for one of our clients, a growing company specialized in Furniture Manufacturing and Hospitality Projects , based in Mivida, Fifth Settlement – New Cairo .

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Office Engineer with strong expertise in tendering, estimation, and pricing within the wood and furniture manufacturing industry .

The ideal candidate should have solid experience in reviewing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations, and handling tenders for hospitality, hotel, contract, or custom-made furniture projects .

Key Responsibilites

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and pricing for furniture and woodwork projects.
• Analyze project drawings and specifications to identify materials, quantities, and production requirements.
• Prepare and review technical and commercial tender submissions.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Projects, and Installation teams to ensure accurate costing and feasibility.
• Obtain and analyze material and subcontractor quotations when required.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns for materials, labor, manufacturing, and other project-related costs.
• Ensure pricing is aligned with project specifications, production capabilities, and required quality standards.
• Review design changes and assess their impact on quantities and project costs.
• Follow up on tender requirements, clarifications, and revisions.
• Maintain organized records of quotations, pricing, BOQs, and tender documents.
• Support management in evaluating project costs and commercial opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering , preferably Architecture, Civil, Production, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Technical Office / Tendering / Estimation.
• Mandatory experience in wood and furniture manufacturing.
• Strong experience in pricing and cost estimation for furniture and woodwork projects.
• Strong ability to read and understand technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications .
• Experience in hospitality, hotel, contract, or custom-made furniture projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of furniture materials, manufacturing processes, and related costs.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines in a project-based environment.
