JOB DESCRIPTION – TENDERING EXECUTIVE

Job Summary

We are looking for a Tendering Executive with minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry to handle tendering, estimation, costing, BOQ preparation, and tender documentation. The candidate should have good knowledge of construction management and the ability to coordinate with internal teams, clients, consultants, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and review construction tenders, EOI, RFQ, and bid opportunities.
• Study tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with Project, Planning, Procurement, QS, and Engineering teams for tender requirements.
• Prepare technical and commercial tender submissions within stipulated timelines.
• Ensure all tender documents, forms, schedules, and supporting documents are complete and accurate.
• Liaise between different departments to gather necessary information for bids.
• Assist in pre-bid meetings, negotiations, and tender clarifications.
• Evaluate potential risks associated with bids and propose mitigation strategies
• Prepare detailed estimates, rate analysis, BOQs, and tender quotations.
• Maintain records of submitted tenders, quotations, BOQs, and tender correspondence.
• Review quantities from drawings and prepare quantity take-offs.
• Obtain and compare quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist in preparing project cost estimates and budgetary proposals.
• Conduct market research for material, labour, equipment, and subcontractor rates.
• Support post-tender activities, including rate negotiations and comparison statements.
• Maintain confidentiality of company pricing, costing, and commercial information.
• Formulate bidding strategies to enhance the company’s competitive edge

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction estimation, tendering, and costing.
• Good understanding of BOQ, rate analysis, quantity take-off, and construction methodology.
• Knowledge of civil construction and construction management practices.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Good communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight tender submission deadlines.
• Good documentation and commercial understanding.
• Experience in handling government, institutional, infrastructure, or private construction tenders will be preferred.

Eligibility

• Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction management or relevant qualification.
• Experience: Minimum 3-6 years of relevant experience in construction tendering
• Candidates should have construction company experience.
• Candidates with experience in tender preparation, estimation, BOQ, and commercial coordination are preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
