Job Description

We are hiring a detail-oriented and result-driven Tender Executive for our client in the logistics and supply chain sector.

The ideal candidate should have experience in tender management, bid preparation, and documentation, preferably within logistics, transportation, warehousing, or 3PL operations.

The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete tendering process, from identifying relevant opportunities and reviewing tender documents to preparing bids, ensuring compliance, and coordinating submissions within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and track relevant government and private-sector tenders, RFPs, and RFQs.
• Manage tender opportunities through portals such as GeM, CPPP, and other e-procurement platforms.
• Review tender documents, eligibility criteria, technical specifications, SLAs, KPIs, and commercial terms.
• Prepare technical and commercial bids, quotations, BOQs, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including Operations, Finance, Sales, Vendors, and Management, for tender-related information.
• Prepare costing sheets, rate comparisons, and commercial proposals using MS Excel.
• Ensure all tender submissions comply with prescribed requirements and deadlines.
• Maintain tender records, documentation, and MIS reports.
• Follow up on submitted bids, clarifications, and client queries.
• Manage multiple tenders simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and timely submission.

Candidate Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline; preference for Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or Business Administration.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in tender management, logistics, transportation, warehousing, or 3PL operations.
• Experience handling government and/or private-sector tenders, RFPs, and RFQs.
• Understanding of transportation, warehousing, distribution, fleet, and logistics services.
• Knowledge of GeM, CPPP, and other e-procurement portals will be an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel for costing, BOQ preparation, rate comparison, and tender MIS.
• Ability to prepare technical and commercial bids independently.
• Strong documentation, compliance, and coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to coordinate with clients and vendors and manage multiple tender requirements.
