Tender Manager

Pre-Tendering

1. Participate in pre-bidding client meetings and site visits to understand and clarify the Tender requirements.

2. Prepare the first draft of the project costs along with the HOD based on the inputs with other tendering team members.

3. Prepare the draft of the project plan along with the HOD, seeking inputs as required from the tendering team members.

4. Assist in the preparation of the Tender basis the project plan and costing along with the team members and present for approval of the HOD.

2.Participate in Tender Negotiation Meetings with the client

1.Prepare and participate actively in the first project negotiation with the client post tender submission along with the HOD/PD.

2.Assist in revisions and resubmission basis multiple negotiation meetings to ensure that the tender is awarded to Generic at the end of the tendering process by the client.

3.Post -Tendering

1. Prepare and participate in the project presentation & kick off meeting with all stakeholders in Generic (Tendering team, Planning, HR, EHS, Quality, Purchase and Site /Execution)

2. Support the Project Managers/ Directors for technical requirements such as Estimation, Technical Specifications, Construction Technologies and Materials sourcing as required basis the information already available with the Tendering team.

This is an individual contributor role. Work is closely monitored by the supervisor/manager, detailed instructions and procedures are generally provided.
