Tendering & Proposal Engineer (Switchgear/Electrical)

• Review customer enquiries and prepare tender proposal to customer
• Prepare quotation and tender documents based on approved pricing and commercial instructions
• Ensure tender submissions are accurate and submitted within the required deadlines
• Follow up and communicate with customers regarding quotations, tender, order status and project updates
• Work closely with the Sales Team, Technical & Tendering Manager, Internal Sales, Factory and other relevant departments
• Follow up on order processing, production status, project progress and delivery schedules
• Liaise with the factory and internal teams to obtain information required for customer updates
• Ensure customer requirements and project information are properly communicated internally
• Maintain accurate records of quotations, tenders, customer enquiries, POs and project documentation
• Prepare sales reports and progress updates for management when required

To be successful for the role:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering or a related field
• Experience working in the industry related to electrical switches, switchgear, switchboards, electrical equipment is an added advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills with customers and internal departments
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
