Tendering Manager

About the Role

Sadbhav Futuretech Limited is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Tender & Bidding Manager to lead and manage the end-to-end tendering and bidding lifecycle for Solar EPC, Rooftop Solar, Ground-Mounted Solar, Solar Pump, and Renewable Energy projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in tender identification, tender analysis, bid preparation, estimation, commercial coordination, e-tendering, and post-bid follow-up, preferably within the Solar, Renewable Energy, or EPC industry.

The candidate will work closely with Business Development, Technical, Estimation, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Senior Management teams to develop accurate, compliant, and competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities

1. Tender Identification & Analysis

• Identify and track relevant tenders through GeM, CPPP, e-Procurement portals, PSU websites, State Government portals and private clients.
• Review RFP, RFQ, NIT, and tender documents and assess eligibility and participation criteria.
• Analyze scope of work, technical specifications, commercial terms, evaluation criteria and contractual conditions.
• Maintain a comprehensive tracker of upcoming, ongoing and submitted tenders.
• Identify potential business opportunities aligned with the Company's capabilities.

2. Bid Preparation & Tender Documentation

• Manage end-to-end preparation of technical and commercial bids.
• Coordinate with internal teams for technical, financial, and commercial inputs.
• Compile eligibility documents, experience certificates, financial statements, and other supporting documents.
• Prepare and review BOQs, cost sheets, pricing schedules and estimation inputs.
• Ensure all bid documents are complete, accurate, and aligned with tender requirements.

3. E-Tendering & Bid Submission

• Manage online bid submissions through GeM, CPPP and various government/e-procurement portals.
• Coordinate EMD, Bid Security, Bank Guarantees and other tender requirements.
• Ensure timely submission of bids within defined deadlines.
• Maintain proper records of submitted bids and supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all technical, commercial, and statutory requirements.

4. Pre-Bid & Post-Bid Management

• Monitor tender amendments, corrigenda, addendums and client communications.
• Coordinate responses to pre-bid queries and technical/commercial clarifications.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders.
• Track bid opening, technical evaluation, commercial evaluation and tender results.
• Follow up for LOA/PO issuance and coordinate successful bid handover to the execution/business team.

5. Market & Competitor Analysis

• Monitor market opportunities and upcoming government/PSU tenders.
• Analyze competitor participation, pricing trends and bidding patterns.
• Provide inputs to management on market trends and bidding strategies.
• Support the development of competitive and commercially viable bidding strategies.

6. MIS & Reporting

• Prepare regular MIS covering:

• Tenders identified

• Tenders participated

• Bids submitted

• Tender pipeline

• Win/Loss ratio

• Order conversion

• Upcoming opportunities

• Maintain accurate tender databases and documentation.

• Provide regular updates to senior management on tender pipeline and business opportunities.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, commercially aware and deadline-driven professional who can independently manage multiple tenders and work effectively under strict submission timelines.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of tendering, bidding, estimation, documentation, e-procurement and proposal management.

Technical & Professional Skills

• Strong understanding of tendering and procurement processes.
• Working knowledge of GeM, CPPP and government e-procurement portals.
• Strong tender documentation and proposal-writing skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to interpret BOQs, tender terms and evaluation criteria.
• Strong commercial and analytical skills.
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Strong communication, follow-up and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Educational Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech Electrical/Mechanical or relevant engineering discipline
• MBA or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.

Experience

10 to 20 years of relevant experience in Tendering, Bidding, Proposal Management, or Business Development Support.

Experience in Solar / Renewable Energy / EPC / Government / PSU tendering will be highly preferred.
