Teradata Platform Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Teradata platform engineering and data warehouse solutions.
• Develop Python scripts for automation, platform management, and operational tasks.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and release management.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and platform operations.
• Manage and optimize Teradata environments to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Develop automation solutions to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
• Implement DevOps practices for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and infrastructure management.
• Integrate AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor AI into engineering workflows.
• Work with MCP (Model Context Protocol) and AI integration frameworks to enable tool integrations and automated workflows.
• Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with data engineering, DevOps, and platform teams to improve engineering processes.
• Follow security standards, coding practices, and platform reliability guidelines.
