What you'll be doing

• Managing your own caseload of students
• Arranging sessions directly with families and schools
• Teaching in different locations - homes, schools or neutral venues
• Setting your own schedule that works for you and your students
• Teaching in a way that clicks with each child
• Building trust and confidence in young people aged 3-18
• Keeping track of how they're doing and changing your approach when needed
• Working with parents and teachers to get the best results
• Keeping good notes on progress

What we need from you

Must have:

• At least 2 years teaching or tutoring experience
• Enhanced DBS on the update service
• Your own car and driving licence
• Higher education qualification
• Good people skills
• Ability to adapt your teaching style
• Strong commitment to child safety
• A positive, can-do attitude

Nice to have:

• QTS
• Experience with SEN students
• Higher level qualifications

The basics

• Work full-time, part-time or freelance
• Face-to-face tutoring in various locations
• You manage your own diary and travel arrangements
• Flexible hours, Monday-Friday (min 10 hours)
