Terminal Engineering and Operations Officer

About the Role

1. Maintenance

• A. Monitor and supervise Terminal maintenance crews.
• B. Conduct inspections and periodic checking of all devices/ tools and equipment to be used for terminal operations.
• C. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly working schedule of terminal maintenance crews.
• D. Attend to the concerns and inquiries of tenants with regards to building structures and various repairs.
• E. Supervise terminal maintenance crews in maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the terminal premise.

2. Terminal Development and Construction

• A. Supervise and monitor construction and development activities of the terminal (with contractors and in-house projects) in coordination with EGMPC- CEG.
• B. Prepare cost estimates and recommendations for the required construction projects.
• C. Preparation of plans and operates AutoCAD programs.
• D. See to it that all documents such as building plans, licenses and permits needed for the construction projects are secured and submitted.
• E. Checking the quality and quantity of materials needed for the construction projects.
• F. Checking and evaluation of on-going and accomplished works of contractors.
• G. Preparation of reports needed on the status of engineering and construction projects.

3. Safety and Security

• A. Directly supervise Safety and Security Officers of tile terminal.
• B. Ensure the safe, secure, and efficient operation of the terminal by overseeing safety and security personnels for the implementation of operational standards.
• C. Conducts regular inspection of terminal facilities to identify risks and hazards with Safety and Security officers.
• D. Provides guidance, training and performance evaluations for Safety and Security Officers.
• E. Monitors terminal operations to maintain order, safety and service efficiency.

4. Pollution Control Officer

• A. Ensure the terminal complies with the environmental laws, rules and regulations set by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and of the related agencies.
• B. Regulatory compliance and submission of various reports to DENR.
• C. Conduct internal inspections of the terminal to identify potential violations and risks.
• D. Recommend corrective actions and enforce compliance among employees, tenants and stakeholders.
• E. Coordination with Head Office with regards to various activities, reports and programs as compliance to DENR.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensure: Registered/Licensed Engineer preferred.
• Accreditation: Certified Pollution Control Officer (PCO) accredited by the DENR.
• Experience: 3+ years in facility operations, maintenance, or construction management.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in AutoCAD and reading engineering/construction blueprints.
• Knowledgeable in facility maintenance, safety protocols, and DENR environmental compliance.
• Core Competencies: Strong leadership and supervisory abilities, excellent vendor and stakeholder management, and solid problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

Pay: Php23,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
