Terraform Engineer – AWS & Azure

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Develop reusable and scalable Terraform modules for enterprise cloud environments.
• Provision and manage infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Maintain Terraform configurations, state management, variables, modules, and environment-specific deployments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure provisioning and application deployments.
• Integrate Terraform workflows with GitHub and automated deployment processes.
• Implement infrastructure automation and reduce manual operational processes.
• Ensure infrastructure follows security, reliability, scalability, and governance best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Terraform, infrastructure, deployment, and cloud-related issues.
• Collaborate with Cloud Architects, DevOps Engineers, Developers, Security teams, and other technical stakeholders.
• Participate in infrastructure design discussions, code reviews, and technical reviews.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost.
• Document infrastructure configurations, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve engineering productivity through automation and AI-enabled tools.

Required SkillsTerraform / Infrastructure As Code

• 5+ years of relevant cloud/infrastructure experience with strong hands-on Terraform experience.
• Strong expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Experience creating reusable Terraform modules.
• Strong understanding of Terraform state, remote state, variables, outputs, providers, workspaces, and dependency management.
• Experience managing infrastructure across multiple environments such as Development, QA, UAT, and Production.
• Experience with Terraform best practices, version control, and infrastructure lifecycle management.

AWS & Azure

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure.
• Experience provisioning and managing cloud resources using Terraform.
• Good understanding of cloud networking, compute, storage, IAM/security, monitoring, and scalability.
• Experience designing secure and highly available cloud infrastructure.

CI/CD & Automation

• 3+ years of hands-on CI/CD and automation experience.
• Experience building or maintaining automated infrastructure deployment pipelines.
• Strong experience with GitHub and Git-based development workflows.
• Experience integrating Terraform with CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of automated validation, testing, deployment, and rollback processes.
