What they need

As Territory Manager UK, you are accountable for the sustainable and profitable development of an assigned B2B customer portfolio within the regional strategy. You take full ownership of customer relationships, commercial performance and end-to-end execution across all relevant customer touchpoints.

Reporting to the Country Sales Manager, you manage your assigned customer portfolio without direct reports. You develop and execute customer-specific go-to-market plans, represent Mammut towards customers and local partners, and ensure consistent commercial, operational and service-related execution.

The UK is an important outdoor market with strong potential for sustainable growth. This role offers the opportunity to strengthen long-term customer partnerships, expand Mammut’s market presence and translate regional priorities into measurable results through excellent customer engagement and execution.

The position requires residence in the UK and a high willingness to travel and spend significant time in the market with customers.

Do what you love:

  • Own your customer portfolio: Take full accountability for revenue, margin, profitable growth and customer profitability across your assigned B2B accounts in the UK.

  • Build lasting partnerships: Develop strong, long-term customer relationships, act as the voice of the customer within Mammut and ensure excellent engagement through regular customer visits.

  • Drive business development: Identify growth opportunities, win new business and translate customer and market insights into profitable commercial action.

  • Develop customer plans: Create and execute customer business and go-to-market plans aligned with regional and corporate priorities.

  • Lead commercial execution: Lead commercial negotiations and seasonal sell-in activities, manage performance against agreed sales, growth and profit targets, and ensure strong pre-order performance.

  • Steer performance: Own all relevant commercial KPIs, drive forecast accuracy and inventory quality, actively manage in-season performance and implement corrective action where required.

  • Use investments effectively: Manage Marketing Investments (MC/WKZ) within approved budgets and ensure a measurable return on investment.

  • Deliver go-to-market excellence: Ensure consistent implementation of product launches, campaigns and seasonal priorities across your customer portfolio.

  • Create an outstanding customer experience: Deliver best-in-class support, manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of commercial, operational and service-related issues.

  • Strengthen the brand: Conduct product, sales and brand trainings and represent Mammut at customer events, trade shows and relevant industry activities.

  • Collaborate across functions: Coordinate closely with Marketing, Planning, Finance, Operations, Sales Operations and Customer Service and share best practices and market opportunities across Western Europe.

  • Exercise decision authority: Decide on customer priorities, commercial opportunities and local execution within approved budgets and delegated authority, aligning major commitments, exceptional investments and deviations with the Country Sales Manager and relevant stakeholders.

  • Deliver against KPIs: Revenue, margin, profitable growth, sales target achievement, customer retention and satisfaction, forecast accuracy, go-to-market quality, pre-order performance, customer engagement, marketing investment effectiveness, new business development, market coverage, cross-functional collaboration and governance compliance.

Play your strengths:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or a related field.

  • Several years of successful B2B sales experience, ideally in sporting goods, outdoor or premium consumer goods.

  • Proven track record in customer management, business development and commercial negotiations.

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to develop customer strategies and translate them into measurable business results.

  • Strong customer orientation, execution focus and accountability for results.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • A data-driven approach combined with a pragmatic, agile and entrepreneurial mindset.

  • High adaptability in responding to changing customer needs, market dynamics and business priorities.

  • High willingness to travel and spend significant time in the market with customers.

  • Success in the role: Assigned customers deliver sustainable and profitable growth, commercial targets are consistently achieved and customer relationships develop into strong, long-term partnerships.

  • Customer-specific go-to-market plans are effectively executed, customers receive outstanding support throughout their journey and market opportunities are proactively translated into action.

  • Cross-functional collaboration enables efficient execution and Mammut’s brand presence and market position in the UK are continuously strengthened.

Benefits of working at Mammut

  • Make your mark on a premium brand: Represent Mammut with pride and play a key role in expanding our presence and impact in the UK market.
