The Opportunity
Lucas James Talent Partners is partnering with Elevate Healthcare to identify an experienced Territory Sales Manager to drive new business development and commercial growth throughout New England.
Elevate Healthcare (formerly CAE Healthcare) provides advanced medical simulation and training technology that helps hospitals, health systems, medical schools, and nursing programs prepare clinicians for real-world patient care.
New England presents a significant opportunity to expand Elevate Healthcare's market presence. With an existing customer base, major healthcare and academic institutions, and considerable untapped potential, this territory offers an experienced salesperson the opportunity to build relationships, capture market share, and make a measurable impact.
We're looking for a proven capital equipment salesperson who enjoys prospecting, navigating complex sales cycles, and building a territory through a disciplined, proactive approach.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
- Meaningful Growth Potential: Develop an underpenetrated territory with opportunities to win new accounts, expand existing relationships, and increase market share.
- Comprehensive Technology Portfolio: Represent high-fidelity patient simulators, ultrasound simulation, clinical task trainers, LearningSpace simulation management software, and related services and training solutions.
- Complex, Consultative Sales: Engage healthcare executives, clinical educators, simulation specialists, and institutional decision-makers on significant technology investments.
- Autonomy & Ownership: Develop your territory strategy, identify opportunities, manage your pipeline, and take ownership of commercial results.
- Compelling Incentives: Earn a competitive base salary and performance-based variable compensation, with additional incentive opportunities tied to new customer acquisition, software sales, and services.
- Purpose-Driven Work: Help healthcare organizations advance clinical education, professional readiness, and patient safety.
What You'll Do
Drive New Business & Territory Growth
- Develop and execute a territory strategy focused on prospecting, new customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
- Identify opportunities across hospitals, health systems, medical schools, nursing programs, and simulation centers.
- Build relationships with prospective customers while expanding existing accounts.
- Identify competitive opportunities and position Elevate Healthcare's solutions to win new business.
- Independently manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach through negotiation and close.
Lead Complex Capital Equipment Sales
- Sell sophisticated simulation equipment and complementary healthcare technology solutions.
- Navigate extended sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, capital budgets, procurement processes, and institutional purchasing requirements.
- Understand customer priorities and develop compelling business cases that demonstrate clinical, educational, and operational value.
- Deliver consultative presentations, coordinate product demonstrations, and develop proposals aligned with customer needs.
- Build credibility with clinical and educational stakeholders by understanding their environments, priorities, and challenges.
Own Territory Performance
- Develop account plans, maintain a qualified sales pipeline, and consistently work toward revenue targets.
- Track opportunities, maintain accurate forecasts, and manage territory activity through CRM systems.
- Collaborate with internal commercial, product, and customer support teams to advance opportunities and strengthen relationships.
- Maintain an active customer-facing presence throughout the six-state territory.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate combines proven sales performance with curiosity, commercial discipline, and a genuine interest in healthcare technology.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience with demonstrated commercial success.
- Proven experience independently selling capital equipment.
- Demonstrated success prospecting, developing new business, and achieving measurable revenue targets.
- Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes, including capital purchasing decisions, negotiations, and extended sales cycles.
- Strong territory planning, pipeline management, forecasting, and closing skills.
- Ability to articulate a repeatable approach to generating opportunities and growing a territory.
- Experience selling technical solutions and the ability to quickly develop proficiency with new technology.
- Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with healthcare or clinical environments and the ability to communicate effectively with clinical and institutional stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel throughout New England, spending at least three days per week in the field.
Preferred Experience
- Capital equipment sales within medical devices, diagnostics, healthcare technology, life sciences, or related technical markets.
- Experience working with hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, or healthcare education institutions.
- Success developing new accounts in competitive or underpenetrated markets.

Previous medical simulation sales experience is not required. Demonstrated capital equipment sales experience is essential.
Travel & Territory
This is a remote, field-based position covering Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine.
The expectation is approximately 50%–60% travel, with at least three days per week spent visiting customers and developing business in the field.
Travel includes local customer meetings and regional day trips. Overnight travel may be necessary depending on customer locations and business needs, but field days do not automatically require overnight stays.
