Tonight, Somewhere in Great Falls, a Pipe Is Going to Fail
A supply line lets go in a 40-unit apartment building at 1 a.m. A restaurant hood catches. A sprinkler head freezes and drops four inches of water across a medical office.
In every one of those situations, somebody is standing in a hallway with their phone out, deciding who to call.
Your entire job is to make sure that, long before that night, they already knew who to call — and that the name in their head was yours.
That's the work. Not closing a one-time sale. Becoming the person a property manager, an adjuster, or a facility director thinks of first on the worst day of their quarter.
Why This Is a Good Market to Sell Into
Property damage doesn't wait for a good economy. Buildings freeze, flood, and burn on their own schedule, and when they do, the work isn't optional and it isn't postponed to next fiscal year. The demand is there whether anyone is in the mood to buy or not.
What's scarce isn't demand. It's trust. Every property manager in this market has a restoration story that ended badly, and most of them would rather have one reliable relationship than five options.
That's the opening. Fill it, and the referrals repeat for years.
The People Who Put You on Speed Dial
You'll spend your week building relationships with the professionals who run into property damage as a normal part of their job:
Property managers and multifamily ownership groups
Insurance agents and adjusters
Facility managers and commercial property professionals
Plumbers, HVAC companies, and general contractors
Senior living and healthcare facilities
Hospitality and commercial business owners
One plumber can produce referrals for a decade. One property manager may control hundreds of units. One agent touches dozens of insureds a month. This is why the role compounds: you're not restarting at zero every January, you're adding to a network that keeps working.
What the Week Actually Involves
Plan the territory and get in front of target accounts in person
Walk into property management offices, plumbing shops, and contractor yards cold and introduce yourself
Meet with insurance agents to walk through how our emergency response works when their insured calls at 2 a.m.
Tour commercial and multifamily properties and talk through water, fire, and mold risk with the people responsible for them
Run consultative conversations — understand their exposure, then show where we fit
Follow up on last week's conversations by phone, by email, and by showing up again
Attend chamber, association, and after-hours industry events
Keep contacts, activity, and next steps current in CRM
Stay connected to operations when a referral turns into an active job, so the relationship you built is protected
Straight Talk Before You Apply
This is a prospecting role. You will have a recognized brand behind you, a real operations team, and leadership that supports sales — and you will still be the one responsible for creating opportunities that didn't exist before you got here.
Nobody hands you a lead list. The phone doesn't ring because you had a pleasant conversation in April. If you want warm inbound leads and a two-week sales cycle, this posting isn't for you, and we'd rather save you the application.
If you'd rather own a market than work a queue, keep going.
The First Year, Realistically
Months 1–3
Learn the service, learn the market, and get in front of as many of the right people as physically possible. Your guaranteed minimum commission is carrying you here on purpose — so you can do the slow relationship work without watching your bank account.
Months 4–6
Early partners start testing you with real work. Consistent weekly meetings. A pipeline that's visible and current instead of theoretical.
Months 7–12
Repeat referrals from partners who used you once and came back. Your name recognized in the market before a loss happens rather than after. Earnings tracking toward $100K+.
Activity, then relationships, then opportunities, then revenue. In that order, and we'll measure all four.
Who We Are
Dayspring Restoration has served Montana for more than twenty-five years and completed tens of thousands of restoration projects. When you tell a facility manager we can handle their emergency, there's a quarter-century of work behind the claim.
We're part of the Fleet Response family of companies, which gives us the capacity to take on anything from a single water loss to an area-wide disaster. That matters to you directly: when a partner sends us their worst day, we deliver, and your relationship survives the job.
Sales is a core function here, not an afterthought. Operations, marketing, and leadership are built to support producers.
Next Step
Apply today. If your background fits, we'll set up an initial conversation and walk you through the territory, the comp plan, and what the first six months actually look like.
Requirements
What You Need
2+ years of B2B outside sales experience
Real comfort with cold outreach and face-to-face introductions
Self-discipline — you run your own calendar, territory, and follow-up
Strong communication skills and the judgment to prioritize high-value accounts
Coachable enough to run a proven process rather than rebuild it
Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
Ability to pass a background screening
Willingness to attend in-person meetings and evening industry events across the territory
Backgrounds That Translate
Restoration experience is preferred, not required. These tend to carry over well:
Service sales to commercial accounts (rather than product sales)
Property management, multifamily, insurance, healthcare, senior living, or hospitality relationships you already have
Construction, building services, or trade-adjacent sales
Any role where you became a known, trusted name inside a local business community
If you already know people in Great Falls who own, manage, insure, or maintain property, that network is worth money in this seat.
