Test Analyst ( Oracle )

We are seeking an experienced Software Test Analyst / Engineer with strong expertise in manual and automation testing, particularly in Oracle ERP and Oracle EPM applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated testing of Oracle ERP and Oracle EPM applications.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and Python.
• Validate data flows between legacy systems, external applications, Oracle ERP/EPM, and data warehouses.
• Perform end-to-end (E2E), integration, functional, and regression testing across enterprise applications.
• Validate and reconcile General Ledger (GL) balances against Oracle OTBI and Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) reports.
• Perform report validation and testing for Oracle OTBI and FDI.
• Develop detailed test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, and test data based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform database validation and data integrity checks using SQL and Oracle Database.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects using Jira.
• Maintain test documentation, test evidence, and project artifacts in Confluence.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and collaborate with business users to validate business requirements.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, functional consultants, and other stakeholders to investigate and resolve defects.
• Manage multiple testing activities simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet project timelines.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and leverage AI-based tools to enhance testing productivity and efficiency.

Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, including manual and automation testing.
• Hands-on experience testing Oracle ERP and Oracle EPM applications.
• Strong functional knowledge of Oracle ERP modules:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Fixed Assets (FA)
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and Python for test automation.
• Strong SQL skills and experience in database validation and data reconciliation.
• Experience with Oracle OTBI and FDI report testing.
• Experience in financial reconciliation and validation of financial balances.
• Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience in end-to-end, integration, functional, and regression testing.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Strong understanding of Oracle ERP/EPM integrations and enterprise data flows.
